Mendez Lifts the WBO Minimumweight Title from Saludar

We have a brand new WBO World Minimumweight Champion folks, and his name is 🇵🇷Wilfredo Mendez (14-1-0, 5KO). Mendez defeated 🇵🇭Vic Saludar (19-4-0, 10KO) by unanimous decision at the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico.  With this win and achievement, Mendez has ended the drought of boxing not having any representation of Puerto Rican World Titlists, and on a personal note, Wilfredo has catapulted himself among the top talents in the Minimumweight division after dominating a good quality now-former Champion in Vic Saludar.
