Heading into last week, the focus was on young Welterweight prospect Vito Mielnicki, 17, and Middleweight Joey Spencer, 19. The 28 year old southpaw made quick work of Mexico’s 🇲🇽Adrian Estrella (29-5-0, 24KO) sending the 29 year old to the mat writhing in pain, with a sharp body shot just 1:32 into the first round.
Undefeated Lightweight prospect 🇺🇸Hector Tanajara (19-0-0, 5KO), started off the New Year by taking on his toughest task so far against tough veteran 🇲🇽Juan Carlos Burgos (33-4-2, 21KO). They did battle in a 10 round bout Saturday on the undercard to the Jaime Munguia and Gary O’Sullivan Middleweight headliner at the Alamodome in Tanajara’s hometown of San Antonio, Texas.
