Taduran Stops Salva to Win IBF Strawweight Title

In the first all-Filipino world title fight held in the Philippines since 1925, 🇵🇭Pedro Taduran (14-2-0, 11KO) bounced back from a knockdown in the first round to stop 🇵🇭Samuel Salva (17-1-0, 10KO) in the fourth round. Taduran now owns the previously vacant IBF Strawweight title.

After the fight, Salva left the ring on a stretcher and underwent CAT scans at the hospital. Manager Sean Gibbons has said the fighter was released and is doing fine.
