The win earns him a title shot against whoever survives after February of 2020 between Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury & Luis Ortiz.
The WBC #1 mandatory contender 🇬🇧Dillian “The Body Snatcher” Whyte continues to wait for his shot at the title held by current champion Deontay Wilder, a wait that Whyte has continuously noted has gone on for over 600 days at this point. The last time we saw Whyte in the ring he won with an explosive 11th round knockout over longtime rival Derek Chisora in December of 2018.
