Eggington Italy-Bound to Fight Fiordigiglio in Florence

DAZN will have a broadcast Thursday afternoon at 1:30pm ET/10:30am PT from Tuscany Hall in Florence, Italy.  British Super-Welterweight 🇬🇧Sam Eggington (26-6-0, 15KO) faces Italy’s 🇮🇹Orlando Fiordigiglio (31-2-0, 13KO) who holds the IBF International Super-Welterweight title in a 10 round, 154 pound headliner.

Any thoughts of 🇦🇺Jeff Horn meeting up with Ryota Murata in December to attempt to become a two division champion were brought to a halt by 🇦🇺Michael Zerafa as he delivered a 9th round knockout in a huge upset today in Australia.

Zerafa (27-3-1, 16KO) scored knockdowns in the 2nd and again in the 9th round when Horn (19-2-1, 13KO) was badly beaten and stopped.

Tanaka Puts the “KO” in Kosei, Knocks out a Very Game Gonzalez in 7

The #1 ranked WBO Flyweight contender 🇵🇷Jonathan Gonzalez (22-3-1, 13KO) showed up for this one and provided a very credible challenge, however WBO Flyweight World Champion 🇯🇵Kosei Tanaka (14-0-0, 8KO) surfaces victorious again and retained his belt after eventually solving the tricky puzzle put in front of him, and catching up to Gonzalez in the 7th round where he put his man away.
