The late great Alexis Arguello (April 19, 1952- July 1, 2009).

The Nicaraguan born three weight division world champion (held the WBA Featherweight title from 1974 to 1976; the WBC Super Featherweight title from 1978 to 1980; and the WBC lightweight title from 1981 to 1982) was thin and flat chested but he could hit like a Mack truck!

Alexis Arguello is regarded by many as one of the greatest boxers of all time with a record of (77-8-0, 66KO).

66 KO’s in 77 wins in a career that spanned from 1968 to 1995. Don’t let anybody tell you that you need to lift heavy weights to develop punching power. Its much more important to get your balance and punch mechanics correct. It’s all in the basics.
