Cool Boy Steph and Heartbreaker to Set the Division on Fire, as Figueroa and Fulton Jr. Fight for Rights to Be Called a Unified World Titlist

There are some circles in boxing that is equally as anticipatory about the title unification bout between undefeated WBC Super-Bantamweight world titlist 🇺🇸Brandon “Heartbreaker” Figueroa (22-0-1, 17KO👊), and unblemished WBO Super-Bantamweight world titlist 🇺🇸Stephen “Cool Boy Steph” Fulton Jr. (19-0-0, 8KO👊), as any other fight that has taken place in the last quarter of the 2021 year, or bouts sitting on the schedule that hasn’t reached its date yet to round out the year. This here is one of those bouts that garners heavy intrigue by boxing insiders, as two young, skilled, tough minded warriors are geared to put it all on the line.

Fulton is ranked #3 122 lb. contender by 📖Ring-Magazine, while Figueroa sits right behind at 📖#4 by the same publication. The 24 year old Figueroa has been made famous in the boxing world for his unique all out aggressive nature, always on the front foot, staying in your chest and getting down and dirty, despite not looking the part at all as a rough, rugged competition, but as you know…looks can be very deceiving.

Fulton at age 27 is one of the leaders of the new pack of Philadelphia fighters to carry the legacy into the future, and while his friend 🇺🇸Jaron “Boots” Ennis sits as by far their biggest current talent, it is Fulton who is their only world titlist at this current time, so he certainly has a lot to fight for.

Figueroa’s greatest performance of his young career was his previous outing 6 months ago when he physically broke down maligned power puncher 🇲🇽Luis “Pantera” Nery, becoming the first to beat him, and stopping him with a body attack, en route to becoming a legitimate world titlist by pulling the WBC title away from Nery in an emphatic fashion.

A very similar rollout, Fulton Jr.’s most impressive performance was his previous outing when he dominated his previously unbeaten foe 🇺🇸Angelo Leo, to win the vacant WBO title, doing so back in January. Both will be attempting to make the first title defense of their careers, and the winner will add hardware doing so.

This bout will be fought in Las Vegas at Park Theater. It can be viewed on 📺SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING, and it will take place on Saturday, November 27th. The winner here will join WBA/IBF world titlist 🥉🇺🇿Murodjon “MJ” Akhmadaliev as an undefeated unified Super-Bantamweight titlist, potentially setting up a blockbuster for Undisputed rights, so the stakes are high here for the winner. Tune in to see who will prevail between the two acclaimed unbeatens.
