With the expansion of women’s boxing, the sport is getting more structured to award the best, in the overpopulated title era. The first of its edition in the Super-Featherweight division, the Ring-Magazine title will be on the line, and the winner here will become the first to have it.
Popular, talented unbeaten WBO Super-Featherweight titlist 🇺🇸Mikaela Mayer (15-0-0, 5KO) will take up her first opportunity at unifying titles, and standing across from her on Friday November 5th will be French power punching IBF titlist 🇫🇷Maiva Hamadouche (22-1-0, 18KO), who is looking to secure her 7th title defense, and add notoriety to her name.
The fight will take place at the Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is a Top-Rank/Matchroom cross venture promotion, and will be broadcast on ESPN+ streaming application. Will Mikaela Mayer (who is ranked #8 P4P on Ring-Magazine’s list) add a couple extra collectables to her trophy case and add on to her star power? or will Maiva Hamadouche play spoiler on the media coverage, and enhance her reputation as a strong world champion
