Fight Remixed – Rigondeaux Out, as Donaire Will Meet Casimero For Major Unification Title Bout 📰

Explosive WBO Bantamweight Titlist 🇵🇭John Riel Casimero (30-4-0, 21KO👊) was set to meet Cuban legend Guillermo Rigondeaux for a major bout in the red-hot 118 lb. division on August 24th. Instead, a late swap was made for HOF’er, and current WBC Bantamweight Titlist 🇵🇭Nonito “Filipino Flash” Donaire (41-6-0, 27KO👊) for them to defend their titles, against, for what will be the biggest fight in the history of the Philippines in terms of two of their best fighters going at it.

This bout by all indications based on their style, and offensive prowess, will produce a war, and what better place for them to have that, than at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, where nothing but high octane action fights are produced – it’s something in the air. The date Is the same.

Now as for 🥇🥇🇨🇺Guillermo Rigondeaux, no he is not injured, and he isn’t sick. Apparently he was offered step-aside money in order for this fight to be made, which makes a good deal of business sense when you hash out all the details, and cast them on the table for analytical purposes.

The amount of the money that was offered to Rigondeaux is unknown to us at this time, but what we do know is that Rigondeaux will be slated to fight the winner of Nonito Donaire / John Riel Casimero to immediately follow. With Naoya Inoue set to fight tonight, the elite of the Bantamweight division has became the story of the weekend.
