In terms of alphabet title trinkets, ๐ฏ๐ตKenshiro “The Amazing Boy” Teraji (17-0-0, 10KO๐) is one of the longest reigning title holders in the sport today, with 7 defenses under his belt since winning the WBC green strap in 2017. The elite unbeaten 29 year old world titlist will go up against improved #1 WBC contender ๐ฏ๐ตTetsuya Hisada (34-10-2, 20KO๐), who is looking to capitalize on his second crack at a world title.
Hisada’s previous fight was against thee Light-Flyweight Champion of the World & RING/WBA king ๐ฏ๐ตHiroto Kyoguchi, and Hisada was good enough to give him a good test, even hurting Kyoguchi at one point in the fight. Hisada lost on the cards, but impressed with his performance throughout. Fighting Kyoguchi and Teraji back-to-back will give him the distinction of fighting the 2 best fighters in the 108 lb. division, and he intends to capitalize this time around against the WBC titlist.
The bout will take place at the ๐๏ธEDION Arena in Osaka, Japan.
