Carlos Gongora Gives the Masses a Reminder – Stops Chris Pearson With Educated Performance

Do you remember 🇪🇨Carlos Gongora (20-0-0, 15KO👊)? As a reminder reference, he was who delivered 🇰🇿Ali Akhmedov his first loss as a pro 4 months ago, and Gongora made his name well known off of that big performance. With him holding the minor IBO Super-Middleweight world title, he squared off against 🇺🇸Christopher Pearson (17-3-0, 12KO👊) this afternoon, and showcased a solid array of skills, managing to stop Pearson by way of 8th round knockout victory.

Gongora was dominant throughout, taking advantage of an overly defense Pearson, who fought too much on the negative side. With Pearson doing more arguing with the ref, than letting his hands go, Carlos picked his spots, and mixed it up well to the body, and to the head, until Pearson eventually gave out in the 8th round. Gongora picked up the 15th knockout of his career, and impressed watchers with his overall performance.
