Rougarou & Redkach to Head Down to Atlanta For Junior-Welterweight Bout On an Undercard

Electric world class power boxer 👹🇺🇸Regis “Rougarou” Prograis (25-1-0, 21KO👊) is slated to make his return to the ring 5½ months after his previous bout, to go to battle against contender 🇺🇦Ivan Redkach (23-5-1, 18KO👊) at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, and will be on an undercard that will be shown on Saturday night.

Prograis, though he no longer has his title, ranks with the highest in the Junior-Welterweight division, with a small contingent still viewing him as the ⚓best at 140, with the feeling that the bout with RING/WBA/IBF World Champion 👑🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Josh Taylor was close to where it could have gone either way. His last outing, Rougarou blasted through previously unbeaten 🇺🇸Juan Heraldez, dispatching of him in 3 rounds behind the dynamite of his vaunted left hand.

Redkach last fight was against 🇺🇸Danny “Swift” Garcia, a bout that he expectedly lost, however he embarrassed himself in the process by biting Garcia, and as a result of that after the fight, he was suspended from in-ring action for a year. At the age of 35, he has no more time to waste in the twilight of his career, but he will have to face perhaps the best opponent of his career after coming off of a 15 month hiatus from gracing the ring.

This fight will be broadcast on the 💻TRILLER online streaming service, which is starting to gain a footing with boxing programming in recent times. Once again, this fight will be on the undercard of Saturdays main event – tune in to see two quality Junior-Welterweights go at it.
