Middleweight Action – Andrade and Williams After Exchanging Words, to Put the Gloves On For a Battle

🇺🇸Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade (29-0-0, 18KO👊) certainly isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, for a variety of different reasons deemed understandable, but one thing’s for sure – the WBO Middleweight World Titlist can certainly fight. There’s been a lot of rhetoric, and words being exchanged back and forth between him, and #8 ranked RING Middleweight world contender 🇬🇧Liam “The Machine” Williams (23-2-1, 18KO👊), and Saturday, they both have a chance to back those words up with their fists.

Andrade is 3 defenses in since nabbing the vacant WBO belt back in 2018, and his career opportunities have stagnated since then. While the biggest names surrounding the division see no interest in fighting him, Williams is probably the best available option that was out there for him to fight, and pretty good opposition is enough for now to keep Demetrius motivated.

The 28 year old Brit Williams has been hard at work since moving up from Super-Welterweight, and has put together a nice winning streak against decent opposition. A brash, confident fighter, he certainly believes he can snatch Andrade’s burgundy belt, and well…believing IS half the battle – he will have to figure out the other half inside of the ring to make his dreams come true.

The card is being held at the 🏨Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, California. 📺DAZN is the platform to view the card in whole, capped off by this main event.
