One of England’s most sought after high profile domestic dust-ups has finally reached fight week. Skilled, promising undefeated challenger 🇬🇧Daniel “DDD” Dubois (15-0-0, 14KO), and unbeaten Silver-Medalist 🥈🇬🇧Joe “Juggernaut” Joyce (11-0-0, 10KO) have unfinished business to take care of, as the two rivals are vying for an eventual world title bout in the Heavyweight division.
To the chagrin of many boxing fans, the fight had experienced many setbacks, but the time is now here. While they sit in similar seats as rising players atop the contender list, their is a wide contrast between what portion of their career they are in. Dubois is 23 years old, and appears to have a long future ahead of him, while Joyce is 35 years of age, who made his pro debut late after his amateur, and world series of boxing stint. While on different paths, they have similar goals, and drive to push their prospects to new heights, and one will have to go through the other in order to get to where he wants to get to.
As for hardware on the line, Dubois domestic British and Commonwealth Heavyweight belts will be on the line, while both Joyce and Dubois will battle for the vacant European title. The fight can be found on the 💻ESPN+ streaming app.
