Acclaimed top-tier Middleweight and former IBF World Titlist 🇺🇸Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs (36-3-0, 30KO👊) is now on the pursuit of big things in the Super-Middleweight division. Accompanying him to the ⚖️168 lb. division will be tough, fan-friendly warrior 🇺🇸Gabriel Rosado (25-12-1, 14KO👊), who will look to do everything in his power to settle the beef that’s been brewing between the two.
BAD BLOOD – HOW IT ALL GOT STARTED
Daniel Jacobs in his previous fight with despondent, enigmatic 🇲🇽Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., many people in Jacobs camp speculated that Chavez could possibly miss weight due to his propensity of not taking things seriously on a consistent basis, and boy was their hunch right. Chavez weighed in an alarming 4.7 pounds over the ⚖️168 lb. weight limit.
A replacement opponent was instilled during the lead-up to their fight, so that a viable second option could be bounced to in case if something like this happened, and that was Gabe Rosado. As Rosado thought he was getting his shot, Jacobs and his team decided to continue forth to follow through in fighting the overweight Chavez due to him being a much bigger draw, and Rosado ultimately fell out of the mix.
Gabe confronted Jacobs in the lobby of 🏟️Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, to check him and voice how he felt. Jacobs had something to say back while being pressed, and since that convo, their riff deepened. Fortunately for both, they did circle the wagons and signed contracts to settle their differences in the ring with their fists, and not their voices.
With Jacobs pushing himself to be nearly on par with the top Pound-4-Pound talent that occupied his previous division, and Rosado being the consummate professional and acting as a perfect gatekeeper for this era of boxing, one can come to the conclusion that we will see the best of both of them inside that ring at 🏟️Hard Rock Casino & Resort on Friday night.
