Two of boxing’s top prospects will be in action Saturday night on the undercard to the 10 round Super Lightweight bout between Jose Pedraza and Javier Molina at the MGM in Las Vegas.
Robeisy Ramirez looking for fifth win as a pro
The fine tuning of the skill set of Cuban Featherweight prospect 🥇🥇🇨🇺Robeisy Ramirez continues Saturday night at The Bubble at the MGM in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 26 year old two time Olympic Gold medalist will take on 33 year old boxer 🇵🇷Felix Caraballo of Puerto Rico, in his fourth fight of 2020 this one an eight round featherweight bout on the undercard to Jose Pedraza and Javier Molina.
Ramirez (4-1-0, 3KO) looks to continue erasing the disappointing debut loss he suffered at the hands of Adan Gonzalez in June of 2019, from the memory of boxing fans. Since that opening blemish, the rising southpaw has won four fights in a row, including getting redemption against Gonzales by six round unanimous decision as part of Top Rank’s Bubble series in July.

Caraballo (13-2-2, 9KO) has two losses on his record, one coming in his most recent outing when he was knocked out in the sixth round by WBO Featherweight Champion Shakur Stevenson on the debut card to the aforementioned Bubble series.

Ajagba all set for Top Rank debut

Also on Saturday’s undercard, undefeated Nigerian 🇳🇬Efe Ajagba (13-0-0, 11KO) makes his debut under the Top Rank banner. The 26 year old, who stands 6’6″ with an 85″ reach, last fought in March and was still at that time, guided by Premier Boxing Champions. In that bout Ajagba picked up the ninth round stoppage against Romania’s Razvan Cojanu.
Ajagba will be matched up against Columbia, South Carolina’s 🇺🇸Jonathan Rice (13-5-1, 9KO), a 33 year old seven year pro, who dropped a ten round unanimous decision in his last bout in March.
