Touted as the Heavyweight divisions top young prospect by many pundits, 🇬🇧Daniel “DDD” Dubois (14-0-0, 13KO) is appropriately nicknamed “Dynamite” due to packing serious pop in both fists. That power will be on display Saturday in a tune-up against replacement opponent 🇳🇱Ricardo Snijders (18-1-0, 8KO) of the Netherlands.
Dubois original opponent was supposed to be 🇩🇪Erik Pfeifer, but due to Pfeifer’s handlers not submitting the results of his MRI testing in time, Dubois team decided to go in a different direction to pick another boxer to face to avoid any uncertainly for what is strictly supposed to be a set-up fight for what’s to follow.
What the ultimate goal is for Frank Warren and Dubois is a big British showdown between he and 🥈🇬🇧Joe “Juggernaut” Joyce (11-0-0, 10KO) for a date-to-be in October. Joyce cleared his tune-up assignment on July 25th over 🇩🇪Michael Wallisch, so this for all intents and purposes looks like the last hurdle to be jumped over before getting the major fight inked.
