Kiwi Heavyweight 🇦🇺Junior Fa (19-0-0, 10KO👊) continues to climb his way up the ladder after getting his fourth win of the year Friday in front of a fan friendly crowd at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah. Fa dropped his man twice as he took a unanimous decision (99-89, 97-91, 100-88) over Toledo, Ohio’s 🇺🇸Devin Vargas over 10 rounds.
Standing 6-5, and fighting anywhere between 260-270 lbs, the 30 year old Fa is an imposing man in the ring but doesn’t appear to have the type of power to close the show on his opponent. Vargas (21-6-0, 9KO), 37, is the second consecutive older ring veteran that has taken him the distance as 44 year old Dominik Guinn (37-13-1, 26KO) also went the full 10 rounds and even put Fa down in the fight. Junior Fa improves to (19-0-0, 10KO) and is currently ranked #7 by the WBO.
