Taylor Moves Up to face Linardatou for WBO Junior-Welterweight Title

The most recognizable face of women’s boxing comes back to the ring on Saturday, that being undefeated, UNDISPUTED Lightweight Champion of the World 🥇🇮🇪Katie Taylor (14-0-0, 7KO👊) stepping up a division to take on WBO Junior-Welterweight Champion 🇩🇴🇬🇷Christina Linardatou (12-1-0, 6KO👊) for her Title in front of a crowd at Manchester Arena.

Katie last time out was in her most difficult fight, barely edging a firefight over then-WBC Lightweight Champion 🇧🇪Delfine Persoon in one of the great fights of the year. With Taylor getting the nod, she became the 3rd Undisputed Champion currently in women’s boxing, and in boxing overall. They may have unfinished business, running it back for a re-match, but first thing’s first, she has a Champion in Linardatou standing in her way. Christina’s last outing was a first title defense of her Title against undefeated 🇦🇺Deanha Hobbs, and Linardatou overall has defeated 3 unbeaten boxers in a row, and is looking to make it 4 in a row, this time against P4P opposition.
