In what is slated to be his last appearance at 154 pounds, WBO Junior-Middleweight champion 🇲🇽Jaime Munguia (34-0-0, 27KO) broke down and stopped Ghana’s 🇬🇭Patrick Allotey (40-4, 30 KOs) in four rounds Saturday night at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.
This was Munguia’s 5th Title defense of his WBO belt, and was his first assignment under new Head-Trainer/boxing legend 🇲🇽Erik Morales. There has been much talk of Munguia vacating to enter the Middleweight division in pursuit of better monetary options, and at this time in his career, with him being a giant Junior-Middleweight, the time is nearing before he makes his most up official.
