El Gallo Returns, Looks to Put on a Show for a New Audience (Estrada vs. Beamon)

A return to action and the official introduction to the DAZN platform after signing his deal, RING-MAGAZINE/WBC Super-Flyweight Champion of the World ♛🇲🇽Juan Francisco Estrada (39-3-0, 26KO) chose North Carolina boxer 🇺🇸DeWayne Beamon (16-1-1, 11KO) as his inaugural opponent as the new Champion of the division.

“El Gallo” Estrada is one fight removed from his dominant performance in his re-match against 🇹🇭Srisaket Sor Rungvisai to snatch the Championship distinction from his rival and getting his revenge in the process after losing a very narrow decision in their first encounter. Since Estrada’s performance in April, he has garnered some high praise in the sport, with many pundits finding room to place them on their personal P4P lists, and is currently ranked #8 P4P by Ring Magazine. One could consider it to be perfect timing that he was able to secure a contract to fight on boxing’s fastest rising platform right after the biggest win of his career. As for Beamon, he is currently ranked #14 world contender by the WBC sanctioning body, and his lone loss came against 🇲🇽Martin Tecuapetla, however Beamon (very much like Estrada) was able to reverse the outcome in a rematch, so technically Beamon has defeated everyone he has faced. Estrada is leagues above anyone that Beamon has encountered, so he is up for the biggest test that he can possibly find himself in.

Estrada will be hosting at home in his native Mexico, with these 2 fighting at the Centro de Usos Multiples venue in Hermosillo, Mexico. Tune in Saturday, April 24th on DAZN to catch this fightcard.
