Jermall Charlo’s Turn to Take to the Ring, will Face Brandon Adams

The Charlo twins are each very talented boxers individually in their own right, obviously one of the worst kept secrets in boxing. With that being stated, you will find a large contingent of people who feel that Interim WBC Middleweight World Titlist 🇺🇸Jermall “Hitman” Charlo (28-0-0, 21KO) is the superior boxer of the two brothers. Charlo will combat against #12 ranked WBC world contender 🇺🇸Brandon Adams (21-2-0, 13KO), who you may remember more for winning the newest rendition of 🎥“The Contender” series earlier this year.

Jermall since moving up to Middleweight has been patiently waiting for his shot against an elite fighter, but what’s ultimately rolling out in front of us is a road-map where those other fighters are currently on a collision course, so Charlo doesn’t factor in too well into the equation for the time being, though he has legit positioning for a Title shot due to possessing an Interim title, next in line for 🇲🇽Canelo Alvarez who has the full WBC Title Belt. While Charlo has to play the waiting game for a little bit, he has to stay busy, so he chose a pretty good fighter in Adams to take this assignment against. As for Adams, he defeated 🇺🇸Shane Mosley Jr. in an impressive performance that catapulted himself to winning the Contender Tournament, and his hope post-tournament was that the powers-that-be would recognize his accomplishment so that he could get a shot at a high-level, well established boxer, and his wishes came true, as Jermall Charlo fits the bill in that description.

This contest will take place at the NRG Arena in Charlo’s backward of Houston, Texas, USA, and you can catch the fight on Saturday, June 29th, on Showtime Championship Boxing.
