A Potential Roadmap Pending Success (Fury/Wilder II?) 🗞️

It appears that WBC Heavyweight World Champion Deontay ‘Bronze-Bomber’ Wilder (41-0-1, 40KO) wasn’t kidding, pertaining to his roll-out of the 3 Heavyweights he would like to face in succession (Ortiz, Fury, Joshua).

Upon hearing of his deal to fight Luis Ortiz in a re-match, we have also gotten word today that contracts have been signed for Wilder to fight former Lineal Heavyweight World Champion Tyson ‘Gypsy-King’ Fury (27-0-1, 19KO) next to follow, pending the results of their two upcoming bouts.

Of course the focus on Wilder is with the dangerous Ortiz in the re-match, and Fury’s focus will be on his upcoming fight with Tom Schwarz, but it’s nice to know that the stagnation that has been happening atop the Heavyweight division is starting to dissipate, and action has now been put to paper in getting a couple re-matches secured. Keeping that in mind, first things first, let’s see how, or if they are able to clear their upcoming assignments, but if successful, all arrows are pointing towards what we as viewers have wanted for years, and that’s for the best fights in the Heavyweight division to happen.
