This weekend San Francisco native Devin Haney (21-0-0, 13KO), 20, will continues his progression from lightweight prospect to contender when he takes on Antonio Moran (24-3-0, 17KO) of Mexico in a 10 round bout on Saturday night.
This fight will be the first headliner for Haney and will be his debut on DAZN after signing a co promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing.
Moran is the former WBO Latino champion, whose career is highlighted by three knockout title defenses on Telemundo. In June of 2018 he dropped a ten round decision to former 2 time world champion Jose Pedraza in Las Vegas. Moran returned with a 2nd round knockout win over Victor Zuñiga in December and is looking to put himself back into title contention.
Haney will be defending the WBC International Lightweight title he won this past January with a 10 round unanimous decision win over Xolisani Ndongeni (25-1-0, 13KO) of South Africa.
