Emanuel Navarrete (27-1-0, 23KO) successfully defended his WBO Super-Bantamweight title after stopping Isaac Dogboe (20-2-0, 14KO) in the 12th round of their rematch last night.
Navarette made it clear he wants to take on the best, stating that the top guys at 122 can come try to take his title if they want it.
As for Dogboe, he says he wants to make the move up to Featherweight, while his father Paul wants him to hang the gloves up.
“I will not impose my will on him. However, I think he has had enough. I want him to return to school and continue his course and take another path in life. We worked hard but were unsuccessful at overcoming Navarette.”
