A Loaded Card Feat. a Rematch of 2 Elite Super-Flyweights & a Unification of Super-Bantamweight Champs

First things first, the Super-Flyweight division is the gift that keeps on giving, and we have a re-match with two of the best on the horizon. LINEAL/WBC World Champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (47-4-1, 41KO) and world-class contender Juan Francisco Estrada (38-3-0, 26KO) met for what was a thriller back in February of 2018.

In a fight that could’ve gone either way, Rungvisai was awarded the victory by MAJORITY DECISION, maintaining his Lineal claim of being the man to beat in his loaded division. Estrada still has a chip on his shoulder with that fight, and now has an opportunity to try and reverse the outcome of the first fight, while Srisaket looks to further drive home his standing not only just in the division, but within the sport of boxing as well.

Unification match-ups are always a beautiful thing, and we are getting one as the co-headliner, with impressive WBA Super-Bantamweight Champion Daniel Roman (26-2-1, 10KO) meeting the gutsy undefeated IBF Super-Bantamweight Champion T.J. Doheny (21-0-0, 15KO) for a bout that for each should produce the toughest assignment in each of their careers. This fight here screams of a potential thriller, one that could probably go either way on the scorecards if we get a full fight of it.

One of the better fighters from the loaded Welterweight division is on the ledger as well, that being high ranked world contender Jessie Vargas (28-2-2, 10KO). His recent career has been weird, having two draws in a row in fights that he could have easily gotten the nod from the judges in, nonetheless it hasn’t halted his aspirations towards getting more of the mega assignments in the division. He will face off against rugged veteran brawler Humberto Soto (69-9-2, 37KO), who defeated Brandon Rios in his last fight, and is moving up a couple steps in competition for this one here.

Stand-out prospect Anthony Sims Jr. (18-0-0, 17KO) will be showcased in an earlier fight. He is definitely one fighter to keep a look out for as he further ascends up in the rankings. Catch all of these fights live on DAZN’s streaming app on Friday, April 26th
