THE VETERAN TAKES ON A NEW CHALLENGE AGAINST A HUNGRY OPPONENT

Fan favorite Raymundo Beltran (35-8-1, 21KO) is back, and he steps up a weight class for a scrap against undefeated talented WBO #2 contender, Japan’s Hiroki Okada (19-0-0, 13KO).

Now a resident in Phoenix, Arizona, It’s been clear through his long career that Rey never takes the easy route, and it’s evident here once again, trying to move up the ranks at Junior-Welterweight at 37 years of age. Beltran is the type of name and test that Okada has been looking for, so we will see how he fares against a battle tested warrior of Beltran’s caliber. This will be on the ESPN+ fight card, to air on Sunday.
